 Ready and waiting to be heated in a pan or grill, taking the hassle of making mochi from scratch out of your hands. Mochi is made from sweet rice that has been soaked, steamed, and pounded into a thick, chewy paste. It is then allowed to dry until firm enough to slice into the handy square or circle pieces available at Japan Centre. Mochi can be grilled, pan-fried or boiled, and once it is cooked it becomes soft, chewy, and ready to enjoy.
